Split Airport
Today, Split Airport expects its first international arrival passengers at Croatia Airlines OU4131 and Condor DE1718 flights from Frankfurt, as well as the respective returning flights.
Within the next few days we expect the establishing of additional scheduled flights from German market (Stuttgart and Dusseldorf).
Since mid-June 2020, we also expect the establishing of other international flights, what would mean the opening of other tourist markets towards Split.
In order to lessen the crowds at the border crossings, and shorten the state border wait times, we recommend the foreign citizens who intend to stay in the Republic of Croatia to provide their data in advance, through the Republic of Croatia Ministry of Interior website https:/entercroatia.mup.hr.
Passengers who provide their data in that manner will not require additional detention at the border crossing point, because the Border Police will have the data in its system. The passengers who send their data in this manner will receive the return confirmation on the received announcement to their e-mail address, as well as all necessary information regarding instructions and recommendations of Croatian Institute of Public Health.
Passengers who do not provide their data in advance through the stated application, will be able to do that all at the border crossing point when entering the Republic of Croatia, but the waiting time will be longer due to necessity of entering of data into the system.
From the 11th May 2020, Croatia Airlines establishes the scheduled domestic traffic, which will, according to announcements, connect Split with Zagreb, twice a day.
Split Airport takes care of the safety of its employees, passengers and any visitors. Our premises and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis, and our employees have been complying with all epidemiological measures in working and in mutual contacts.
The air quality in the new terminal is in accordance with the proscribed standards, and we provide permanent fresh air supply within all closed premises.
We kindly ask all passengers to contact the air carrier regarding travel conditions and status of their reservations, and to come for their flight in time. Registration of domestic flight passengers opens 1:30 h prior to the stated aircraft take-off time. More information on air carrier may be found here.
In the interest of lessening of physical contact, the registration of passengers for flight is possible at self check-in counters, and at control points there are automatic doors which open by using the 2D bar code printed on boarding card. Before and after every passenger handling process, the contactless hand disinfection points are installed, all the way to the aircraft exit gate. All places of direct contact between passengers and employees are equipped with protective partitions.
The novelty for all passengers is the recommendation of wearing face masks in the passenger terminal, and the obligation of wearing masks when on board of the aircraft. Those who do not have a face mask can buy it at the Tisak Media store, at the Airport.
In accordance with the easing measures, two airport catering facilities are open, one Coffee Bar within the Bus Terminal, and one on the Passenger Terminal upper floor. Our passengers and visitors may use them, respecting all recommended epidemiological measures.
We kindly ask all passengers and visitors to respect the measure of minimum physical distance of 1.5 m during their stay at the Airport.
We wish you a pleasant and safe flight.
