State Road D409 is closed to all traffic because of works on construction of pedestrian bridge as part of works on extension of Split Airport, within the Airport location, from 13th to 16th March.
We kindly ask all passengers and visitors of Split Airport to use for coming to the Airport only the Road of dr. Franjo Tudjman from the direction of Split. For anyone coming from the direction of Trogir the diversion route goes along State Road D409, Pantan – Plano, to the State Road D8 Plano - Rudine (Kastel Novi), and State Road D409, Rudine (Kastel Novi), down to the Road of dr. Franje Tudjman.

Due to the above, there is temporary partial change of the route of bus line 37, Split – Trogir, in both directions, as follows:
- From the direction of Trogir, over Pantan, to Plano Crossroad, along State Road D8 to the first overpass down to old Kastela Road, driving back to line 38 bus roundabout in front of Split Airport, and then proceeding to Split along its normal route.
- From the direction of Split, along old Kastela Road to line 38 bus roundabout in front of Split Airport, driving back to Kastel Stafilic and over the first overpass down to State Road D8, to Plano crossroad, left to Pantan and onwards to Trogir.

Split Airport, SPU (LDSP), is a Schedules Facilitated Airport (00:01h - 24:00 h ) for the summer season from 25 MAR18 until 27 OCT18.
All scheduled air traffic, charter flights, general aviation and business aviation are subject to schedule facilitation made by Traffic Coordinator or Ground OPS Centre.
An scheduled air traffic and charter flight operators must request for arrival and/or departure time/s in IATA SMA (Schedule Movement Advice message) format.
General aviation and business aviation operators must agree arrival and/or departure time/s. Request shall be submitted not earlier than 14 days before scheduled time of arrival and shall comprise the following information:
- Date of flight
- Aircraft registration
- Aircraft indentification (call sign)
- Type of aircraft
- Type of flight
- Estimate time of arrival and/or departure
- Aerodrome of departure and destination.
Aircraft stopover of more than 40 minutes is subject to parking stand availability and shall be confirmed by Traffic Coordinator or Ground OPS Centre.
Filing a flight plan is not considered as request for schedule facilitation or parking request.
Aircraft without agreed arrival/departure times and parking could be refused landing clearance except in emergency.
Any modification shall be made by sending new request.
Cancelation shall be immediately notified.

As in previous years, the olive harvest was pleasant for all employees that participated in it. We picked 6482 kg of olives that were immediately processed into 1100 lit of superb quality olive oil.
Olive harvest started yesterday at Split Airport. The harvest continues today.
