Passenger & baggage security check

All passengers are required to go through a security check before reaching the gates.

If you have a pacemaker or other metal medical implants, make sure to inform security personnel before walking through the scanner.

You will need to

Report and present all liquids

Remove your coat and/or jacket to be checked as a separate piece of carry-on baggage.

Briefly walk through a metal detector before collecting your belongings.

Your checked baggage will be scanned during check-in, before it is loaded onto the plane.

Dangerous items

Before going through security, please make sure that your baggage is appropriately packed and that you are not carrying any forbidden items. If you are carrying anything listed under dangerous items, make sure it is packed in accordance with rules and regulations.

 

What if some of my items are confiscated?

If an item from the dangerous item list is not properly packed, or if you are found with a forbidden item, it will be confiscated by security.

 

Small value items will be disposed of (liquids exceeding limits etc.)

 

Valuable items will be stored and shipped to a location of your choosing.

Usage during flight

You can use laptops, mobile phones and tablets in the plane during your flight. Please make sure that Airplane Mode is engaged for the entire duration of your flight.

Excess or Special Baggage

Your airline defines how many pieces of luggage you can bring on your flight and what their maximum weight can be.

 

Please refer to your airline to check baggage limits, request loading of special baggage (such as musical instruments), or request to bring more luggage than the limit.

 

Extra charges will apply in accordance with airline charging rules.
